Experience the powerful emotion of Betty & Jud – The Musical, presented as a personally signed copy of the original stage script by Yorkshire author and songwriter Kelvin Rush. Set in the North of England during 2015, this deeply moving musical follows the touching relationship between elderly brother and sister, Jud and Betty Stone. With Jud facing the final week of his life after a terminal cancer diagnosis, Betty is determined to make his last days filled with laughter, music and cherished memories.
Together they revisit childhood adventures, sing songs, share stories and celebrate a lifetime of love, humour and family. Their bond is heartwarming, honest and unforgettable. However, their final days take a devastating turn when Betty becomes unintentionally involved in the tragic death of a local twelve-year-old boy. Overwhelmed by guilt and struggling with dementia, she faces an impossible decision that transforms this touching family story into a powerful and emotionally charged drama.
Blending original songs, humour, nostalgia and heartbreak, Betty & Jud – The Musical explores family, memory, loss, forgiveness and the enduring power of unconditional love.
