Take a nostalgic journey back to the summer of 1974 in this heartwarming coming-of-age story about first love, friendship, and growing up. Jimmy Spence is navigating the confusing world of puberty, where every day seems to bring new emotions, new challenges, and new questions. Just when life couldn’t become any more complicated, he falls head over heels in love with Julie Richardson, a girl from school who captures both his heart and his imagination.
There’s just one problem: Jimmy has never kissed a girl before. Determined to help, his loyal best friend Scotty takes it upon himself to teach Jimmy everything he thinks he needs to know about girls, romance, and that all-important first kiss. But as Jimmy soon discovers, some experiences simply can’t be rehearsed.
